When you homeschool Spanish as a foreign language one crucial strategy is CONSISTENCY. You need to be CONSISTENT and CONSTANT in your study habits.
- Dedicate 45 minutes EVERY WEEK DAY. Best if you keep the same daily schedule
- Have your VOCABULARY WORKBOOK with you
- From the HOME page of this site open and log in the following pages:
- VIRTUAL CLASSROOM for a live session with instructor, or to replay a missed class
- QUIZLET FLASHCARDS to study vocabulary
- QUIAWEB CLASS PAGE to practice with fun activities and for class quizzes and calendar
- HOMESCHOOLSPANISH YAHOO GROUP for questions, answers and news
- Write down in your WORKBOOK the Spanish vocabulary from the STUDY FILES and FLASH CARDS
- Also write down the meaning in English and a word of your own association in Spanish
- Study the QUIZLET FLASH CARDS, and use QUIZLET testing tools to see if you know them
- Go back to your WORKBOOK and write a sentence with the new vocabulary
- Check our QUIAWEB page for practice, calendar and tests
- Check our HOMESCHOOLSPANSIH YAHOO GROUP for new files, new messages and to request and offer help with Spanish. Helping others helps you learn Spanish better.
- Keep on top of your class projects, finish and send assignments by their duedates, and schedule SKYPE meetings with your class mates if needed for group work.
- Do some fun Spanish related activities on the weekends, like learn a Spanish song, or make some Spanish food.
